Healthlink Home Care LLC is Hiring a Home Health Aide Near Manatee, FL

Companion Sitter

COMPANION SITTER NEEDED

Provide great patient care

  • Answer patient calls and determine how best to help them
  • Provide physical support for patients or residents with daily activities and personal hygiene, including bathing, dressing, getting out of bed, using the toilet, walking, standing or exercising
  • Turn and reposition bedridden patients
  • Ensure patients receive an appropriate diet by providing their dietary restrictions, food allergies and preferences
  • Measure and record food and liquid intake and urinary and fecal output and report into medical and nursing staff
  • Record vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, temperature and respiration rate as requested by staff
  • Examine patients to detect issues requiring medical care including open wounds, bruises or blood in urine
  • Remind patients to take medications and nutritional supplements
  • Note observations of patient behavior, including complaints, or physical symptoms to nurses
  • Stay up to date on CNA/HHA training and facility policy and procedures

Requirements:

  • Basic Health and Tuberculosis screening
  • Participate in Quality Improvement Program
  • State Certified Nursing Assistant Certification
  • Current CPR (American Heart Association) Certification
  • Ability to think and work independently and with direction and communicate with staff members in a fast-paced and sometimes stressful environment
  • High School graduate or equivalent
  • Valid Driver’s License and Insurance
  • Meeting recurring training requirements

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • 6 hour shift

COVID-19 considerations:

Ability to commute to Gwinnett County

Experience:

  • Caregiving: 2 years (Preferred)

License/Certification:

  • CPR Certification (Preferred)
